Run by an amazing Greek family, John's is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. It's like a big family, with other patrons walking around pouring coffee for each other. Love it!

Great place for breakfast and lunch and just old style comfort food. They have a great greek salad and gyros.

If you like the red vinyl good old diner, this place is a must visit. Time has stopped in this place and the atmosphere is great. Sunday morning at 1030am and it's jam packed with old grandmas and grandpas sitting beside hipsters and couples enjoying the great food. Try out the philly steak omelette or the breakfast special.

It's a diner, and it's a pretty good one. If you understand that then you'll be happy. If you expect something fancier, then you won't.

My husband and I really enjoyed our breakfast. He had the Breakfast Special and I had the Breakfast Burrito. The food was very well prepared and the potions were more than we could eat. I highly recommend this place. It's was a very pleasant surprise.

This cafe has great home-cooked food, but was kinda pricey. We decided not to go to Waffle House for brunch when we heard this place was around the corner on Greenville in Dallas. Would have given it an Excellent rating if the price was right. $30 for two to eat quick diner food was a little too much. If your... More

When I pulled up to John's Cafe, I wasn't sure what to expect. It's in the middle of a pretty standard shopping center and didn't look like anything special. When I walked in, I noticed that the walls were lined with newspaper articles and photographs from the cafe's decades of business. John himself greeted me at the counter and I... More

I've eaten at John's regularly since 1976! John and group will fix your food any way you want it. BLT on a bun instead of toast, no problem. Hamburger steak without the cooked onions but with the gravy, no problem. Club sandwich with only two to pieces of untoasted white bread, no problem. If you can say it, they will... More

This is not a place you would drive by and say oh, let's eat there. We looked up on yelp & it had great rating. As we pulled up we questioned, but walked in and the place was packed. There were four of us for breakfast and we all ordered different items. We were happy with all. You order at... More
