Perfectly cooked steak, very courteous, helpful and efficient wait staff and lovely ambience. The servings are very large, each side dish is family size so don't over order. Great wine list. An enjoyable and memorable meal.

Have been to both and prefer this over YO. Think atmosphere is arguably better at YO but food better here and I overweight the latter for the purpose of this trip. Bar is spacious and fine at dakotas for single travelers

I visited on a Friday evening before going to the theatre. It was early so the place was pretty quiet but it still had a good vibe. Although not the cheapest, the steak was excellent- I had the fillet cooked medium. Highly recommend and I...More

My wife and I both enjoyed salmon at Dakotas, along with a flourless chocolate dessert. The service was quite attentive. It was part of a large group that was served in a private room, yet they kept the service levels quite high. Everyone enjoyed the...More

It has been years since I have eaten here and the visit back was just as amazing. We were sat in a private little glassed in space room for 4. It was intimate but yet you could see the whole restaurant. The server Jose was...More

The food here is amazing. Steaks were perfectly grilled. Try the Brussel Sprouts, I'm not typically a fan but these are great. The mushrooms were good and the white chocolate cheesecake was fabulous. What really made the experience was our server, Shay. She made a...More

I got the filet, and it was delicious. We got a lot of appetizers, that I wasn't super impressed with, and the homemade mozzarella salad, which was really good. The mushroom side was really good as well, my co workers loved the mac and cheese....More

I had the lamb cut which was superb. Cooked medium, with a Cherry Mostarda & Chimichurri (pesto) on the side. Very good! I don't even like cherries and it was excellent. We went for our anniversary. My husband had the oysters from Prince Edward Island....More

I went here with a colleague from work - after arriving in Dallas at night. We arrived around 8.45pm. The place was quiet and we were seated quickly. Service was attentive. Food was very good. Steak was cooked to perfection, and arrived hot. Mashed potatoes...More

Don K
Well Hello, my name is Don Kappel and I have an idea for a new television show all about wine. As you probably know there are lots of food/cooking programs being broadcast today, and even a cable tv channel called the food network, but nothing about wine! Wouldn't be nice to learn about wines, how it is produced, where it comes from and what foods are a perfect match. Well, that is what this show would be all about. So here is my question for you. Would you want to have your company featured on this program? If your answer is YES, would you be willing to make a minimum investment to help with production costs? We are looking for 4 title sponsors to make a one time investment of $5000. and you would have special acknowledgements with mentions at both the opening and closing of the show as well as advertising time during all commercial breaks. This is a great investment opportunity. At this point, we are working with 3 different television production companies (2 in Calif and 1 in Texas). We do have interest from a few cable networks, like the Food Network, Cooking Channel and the Travel Channel just to mention a few. So it's up to you, do you want to be the first company to support IT IS WINE TIME? Please let me know and your sponsorship will be put under a contract. Thank you, Don Kappel PS. Please contact me to arrange a meeting to discuss this opportunity

Every Steak Restaurant has a veg. menu....select from of the many veg. sides dishes.
Do they have a men's dress code? I.e., tie and/or jacket; would nice jeans and a sport coat be acceptable?

We believe the best steaks come from the best cut and quality. That's why we get all of our beef fresh from renowned beef purveyors, Allen Brothers. Each cut is corn and grain fed USDA Prime steak that our chef handpicks. Each steak is aged for a minimum of 28 days for a perfectly tender, juicy bite every time. It is our goal to give you a great meal every time you join us for lunch or dinner. We update our menu twice a year so each time you dine with us you experience fresh flavors that go with every season.
