Great lunch once you get past all of the Republican memorabilia. Portions are a tad small for the price but there aren't many restaurants to choose from in the area. Plenty of room for large groups.

We arrived at 2:20 based on Trip Advisors posted times of 8-5. No other times available on cafe's website. Consequently, I can't review the cafe but want to make sure that no one else finds a locked door when they arrive.
A lunch stop at the Moosehead cafe in Crockett Texas. Definitely a local place with local color and decor. Down home food. I had a salad - that was very good. Service was very good, food was very good
On the Square in crockett..this restaurant is larger than it looks..and it was packed with customers..The food is plain but very good. There were several waitresses on duty so service was quick and good. Blue Bell ice cream is sold here along with several selections of coffee beans...we were passing through and happy we stopped.
