We visited El Sabrosito for a late breakfast and were immediately taken with the family atmosphere and the friendly service. I ordered “Chilaquiles”, scrambled eggs with tortilla chips, fresh tomatoes, onions and peppers and topped with cheese. It was delicious. All of it came at an unbelievably low price. The menu includes hard to find barbacoa and chorizo, carne guisada and many others. Also on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner are all of the traditional Tex-Mex favorites like quesadillas, tacos, tamales and enchiladas. All in all you will find El Sabrosito to be a real treat for wallet and pallet. El Sabrosito is open Tuesday - Saturday, 6am to 9pm and on Sunday, 7 am to 3 pm. The menu also has American food, including burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, fish, shrimp and even steaks. I have tried other menu items and all were delicious. A great family owned restaurant!

The best Mexican food in Converse. Excellent service, fair prices and it all tastes best when your brother pays. Our waitress ( Paola )wore a mask (of course) but she had happy eyes :) and was very quick and professional. Tip: try the horchata.

Chicken soup for the soul! Come here for the large chicken tortilla soup , the best $7,75 you can spend all day. It’s an 8.75 on a 10 scale, and that makes it one of if not the best in San Antonio Lemonade made fresh using real lemons, what a concept Lots of daily lunch and dinner specials that are above average. Huge fajita platter for 3-4 for $20. Also above average

Just okay, they charge for everthing, cilantro and onions on your taco, extra lemon slices, 4% added to your check if you pay debit, extra chips, extra salsa. Beef milanasa is a joke here, all breading for almost $11.00. Coffee is always warm not hot and the tea needs work. Someone just crashed into thier restaurant trying to commit suicide, they were not remodeling at all just repairing the damage. lets see if they raise their prices to pay for the damges.

My teen boys love going here and it has become a weekly visit. The food is fairly priced and tastes good with a nice variety. The staff are very friendly with good, quick service.

The food here is usually very good, but sometimes not so consistent. The service is slow and forget trying to use the drive through--it takes forever. However, there is a walk-up window and if you call in your order you can usually pick it up promptly at the window. A very good thing about this place is that it is extremely reasonably priced. It is across the street from a school, so there is no alcohol served. Very bright and festive decor. Clean. I don't like drinking from plastic cups at a meal. The tea is like colored water, so just order water instead. Food itself is good though, except I don't care for their tamales--mushy and fall apart. Modest family restaurant and a neighborhood mainstay; very busy at most times.

I’ve been dining here for over 10 years, the food is consistently good! I think they have a hard time keeping waitresses, causing longer waiting times. But I’m never in a hurry, and I always allow myself extra time if I have to be somewhere, and want to stop for tacos. I’ve been to just about every Mexican restaurant in a 5 mile radius, and El Sabrosito’s is still the best with the best prices!

The food is Great but the service is slow. Whether you dine-in or take out its slow. You cannot be in a hurry especially if you go through the drive-thru.

This is a special Tex-Mex restaurant with top quality food, homemade tortillas, and very reasonable on the prices. It has a great selection as well, service was on top of things as well. We had the breakfast tacos and it was so good we returned for lunch also top notch.

Best Mexican restaurant in converse, tx. Head and shoulders above others and the prices are riright. Carne guisada is excellent. Chips are fresh and the salsa packs a just right taste. Caliente. Breakfast tacos are inexpensive.

Chicken options are bland with seasoning. Chicken is really fatty and hard to eat. I had so much fat on it, hardly any meat.

For over a year, I've been frequenting this restaurant on my way to work. It's always been close but not on my route. I love their breakfast tacos and the very personable way their staff treats the customers. A great new find (for me).

I been going to this restaurant for around 8 years. I like the service , food, clean inside and price. I like the salsa they serve with the chips because is spicy but not to hot with a nice flavor. I have order their cheese enchilada, tacos , carne guisada. and nachos. They have a really good lemonade .

If you are looking for quantity and price, look no further! Breakfast tacos are around $1.19 and breakfast plates are around $3-$5 depending on what you order. All breakfast plates include homemade tortillas, potatoes and refried beans and choice of red or green salsa. We ordered a bean and cheese taco, 3 bacon and egg tacos, 2 ham tacos and a pancake special. Each item ordered was hot, tasty and made to order. The waitress was nice and courteous. We would return in the future.
