I was pretty excited when we were driving in town and stumbled upon Abuelo’s after having a really good experience in Tyler, Tx. They didn’t disappoint! We had wonderful service, delicious food, and the place is very well maintained.

My wife and I went to Abuelo's for dinner on a Sunday evening. We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant and our server appeared shortly thereafter. My wife ordered the enchiladas and I ordered the ribeye and enchiladas with charro beans. The service was...More

Have been to Abuelos twice since moving back to College Station. The food quality has really been disappointing. New menus and higher prices too. Shredded beef enchiladas were super dry and the beef extremely tough. Same with the chicken enchiladas...dry with some unidentifiable chicken pieces....More

My staff surprised me with a lunch at Abuelo’s. Ordinarily, this is a good thing, but it turned out to be a pretty bad meal. The half of the room with the female was served and received their checks before my half of the room...More

The food was good and the service was outstanding. The meal we had was the fajitas and they were really good , like the best I have ever had!! But the dips at the beginning were just ok

Standard Tex mex restaurant chain. The service was good although we were ignored a little by the hostess. No one else was in the restaurant when we walked in (it was around 11 am) and the hostess saw us and did not come to until...More

They served way too much food, but we ate everything, and tipped decent. Let's just say it was better than alright. I'll probably never eat here again but I enjoyed the experience. They serve three types of salsa which is cool, but only one is...More

While Abuelo's is one of my husbands favorites (because of the green chile) it always leave me saddened that I wasted the calories on food that didn't wow me. There mojito shaker was so bad that I actually sent it back. While our waitress was...More

Description
Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.
