If you like chicken fried steak, theirs is among the best. I don't often splurge on CFS but Down Home's is worth the calories. Tasty sides and breakfast all day. A definite go to for my family.

I really enjoyed eating at this café. You get lots of food at a great price and the service was wonderful. I chose to pancakes, two pieces of bacon, and home fries for .99. You can't beat that. Make sure you go before 3 PM because they close then.

My family and I have been eating here the last few years. We always stop here for a great breakfast before we go shopping at First Monday. The food is good and the prices are great. Just make sure you go early, because this place is always busy in the morning.

Down Home Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat. Whether you're hungry for breakfast or lunch, the choices are delicious! My favorites are their burgers & onion rings, chicken fried steak and fried or grilled chicken salad. Sweet tea is wonderful. Good prices, friendly folks. You won't be disappointed. They close at 3 so don't miss out!

Looking for simple downhome cooking? This is the place! Several co workers & I go there after getting off night shift. They are open at 6 AM. I worked all night & don't want a breakfast. No problem at Downhome. They cook up some good burgers! Their BLT's are fantastic too. Fries are better than McDonalds any day & can... More

We were attending the Canton Trade Days and decided to have breakfast before going. We selected the Downhome Cafe as the best place in Canton. It did not disappoint. The cafe is located just south of downtown and is away from the crowds that attend the Canton Trade days. The only problem is that the restaurant is a little tricky... More
