Great small town dinning. Buffet or order off menu. I had the Chicken and Dumplings that were on a well stock buffet. My wife had an excellent steak. Great service. will stop there again. Excellent atmosphere. Good parking and access from the street.

My wife and I were travelling through the Texas panhandle and stopped for a late lunch at the Canadian Restaurant. My wife chose the salad bar and she loved it. I was hungry and opted for the large chicken fried steak - it was delicious, as was the mashed potatoes and gravy. And, the waitress kept our drinks filled up.... More

This is a home owned small town restaurant. The food is good and not expensive at all. They have specials throughout the week. The service is really good unless they are swamped and really busy.

A local resident recommended the Canadian Restaurant for "plain ol' good food". This is a country diner, with black & white checkerboard linoleum floor, red leather booths [a little worn], and overhead fans. I ordered a hamburger and onion rings and found both to be very good. Service is fast and the staff are very friendly. I heard that this... More

Service was EXTREMELY slow but the place was ok. The food was fair, I was looking for a better chicken fried steak and the gravy was very thin. The homemade rolls were delicious.

I had breakfast here with some coworkers and wasn't necessarily impressed or blown away but was satisfied. The gravy was a bit thin but the biscuits were very tasting. My chicken fried steak was pretty good and I was pleased with the price and friendly wait staff.

Food this good needs to enjoyed. I ate breakfast there on multiple occasions. I love the hand cut steak and eggs for breakfast. Don't forget to get the Texas Toast. The steak at Canadian is one of the best I have had. I travel and have been lucky enough to eat at Ruth's Chris, Charley's, Shula's, and many more and... More

Nothing out of the ordinary but a decent place to eat for breakfast. Typical of a small town cafe. It is not smoke free. It has a smoking section and a non smoking section so it filters through.
