The menu has a nice variety of good old time home cooking items. It also has a nice variety of sandwich/appetizers entrées too. The staff are personable and the food was brought out in a timely manner. Trailblazer offers music on certain nights which was fun to hear.

My wife and I eat there regularly. Nice family restaurant with great food. Beer and wine is available also. Tuesday night music is some of Texas's best and I highly recommend it.

Good food, great prices, good service. This place has a welcoming atmosphere. On the same street for antique shopping. , Enjoy going here when in Burnet.

Forgettable tourist food and slow service. Good location and appropriate (if not cliche) interior. Cross between Denny's, Luby's, and Cracker Barrel, with similar quality. Just meh.

We had read about their Chicken Pot Pie in Texas Highways. Were in Burnet for the annual Bethlehem story. decided to have a late dinner and came here. They did not seem real busy and we got sat right away but it took the wait staff nearly 20 minutes just to get out initial drink orders. about 10 mins later... More

Our small group found this eatery on the downtown square perfect for conversation and a hearty mean on a chilly December day. Everyone ordered something different, and all were pleased with choices. The decor is welcoming and clean -- more like you'd expect from a country lodge or resort. The general store onsite has gifts and canned goods to take... More

So I have never had the opportunity to get in here to eat because it is always so busy!! Always a line to get in! So today we went as a family and got in quickly, the staff was very friendly and very quick with our drink order. We ordered 2 appetizers to start. We had the spinach dip which... More

Admittedly it was 12:30pm on Monday and there were just a few open tables. We were seated fairly quickly in the 2-top in the traffic pattern of the second door of the full banquet room. The first server took our drink order and gave us menus. About 15 minutes later the second server said he came to fill-in for the... More

A good spot in the square. We had the queso (not our favorite), grilled cheese (really good!) and the smothered hamburger steak. The steak was decent but the sides were really good!! We will be back.

We are located in the Historic Town Square in Burnet, Texas. Built in the late 1890's, we have maintained a lot of the integrity of the original building by keeping the tin ceilings and using the original wood in some of our architectural renovations.
