Get there early, or be prepared to wait. People are in love with this restaurant for a reason. It is a great little "hole in the wall" type place where you get well cooked food at a reasonable price. The green beans and seafood hushpuppies were a great start, but I chose a pecan chocolate tart served with house-made cinnamon... More

My families new favorite restaurant. Great seafood that they have delivered fresh on a regular basis. All the sauces are made in house with a ton of flavor. This place stays packed so be prepared to wait, it is worth it. Smoked shrimp was like nothing I have ever had. Fun place for families with celebrations. BYOB. Excellent!

Had been wanting to get to "gogo" since my wife and I took a cooking class from owners/chef at Central Market 6 years ago. FYI, we were taught how to make the "best" risotto in the world from the techniques acquired in Italy. So last Saturday we were shopping for boots in Justin in the afternoon. I had checked earlier... Visited recently to have the halibut with crab beurre blanc, lobster Mac & Cheese, and asparagus. Asparagus was a little skimpy ( thee skinny spears), and only one good piece of lobster in the Mac and cheese, but the halibut was divine. Cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious. We took a good bottle of wine and really enjoyed the... More

Smoked dinner plate was awesome. Smoked shrimp and smoked salmon was delicious. The stuffed lobster was delicious. I need to figure out how to do this at home. Crab dip appetizer was great. Service was great. We really enjoyed the food verses Ft Worth restuarants. This restaurant is priced right and well worth the drive. P.S. The desert was a... More

We have been going to Gogo since shortly after they opened 8 years ago. The short side of this review is you almost can never can go wrong with the Bento Box TV dinner. Gumbo, Salad, Shrimp n Grits, Crab Cakes. This is what the wife and I order probably 75% of the time. The menu has so much more... More

We live about an hour away from gogo gumbo but time spent driving through the countryside west of Dallas was well worth it. This is a fun non pretentious restaurant that is chef owned by a couple who moved up from Houston. The menu has something for almost everyone as long as you enjoy excellent seafood with a Cajun flair.... More

Ate there Saturday evening with my wife. Arrived at about 5 PM had an hour wait for a table. Service was great and the food was fantastic. We ordered the seafood hushpuppies (lots of seafood in them) for an appetizer. Several people there waiting suggested trying the "TV Dinner" I would have tried them but am not a grits person.... The food was outstanding. On my first visit, I had the Bento dinner - a sampling of shrimp and grits, gumbo, crab cake and salad. The crab beignets were a great starter. The crab cakes were to-die-4! Stuffed shrimp looked delicious. Friendly and quick service and the fun decor made this a great experience all the way around. Go early... More
