I loved the food and atmosphere of this place. All kinds of antiques and interesting things were in the dining area - even the table had old newspaper clippings underneath the glass that you could read while you waited to be served. Lots of neat...More

Went on a Monday afternoon, after lunch hour. Restaurant loaded with Southern memorabilia from World War Two and Great Depression. All in my party had pulled BBQ pork sandwich. Meat was plentiful in sandwich. Bun tasted fresh baked. Price was very reasonable. Great experience. Will...More

This is simply a GREAT hometown BBQ restaurant. The decor is amusing, service friendly, prices fair and food absolutely delicious. It's right next to the wonderful old movie theater on the square in Winchester. Patronize both!

Went here during a basketball tournament due to the reviews on TA! It was excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top drawer. The portions are large. This is definitely a must stop when in Winchester. I can't wait to go back!

We loved this little restaurant! The atmosphere is great! We loved the antiques and vintage newspapers under glass! There was so much to look at while we waited for our food. We were seated promptly and waited on as quickly. Our food was hot and...More

I don't know how this place received any negative reviews. Service was prompt, food was good and priced fairly. Covering the negative reviews about race, I saw a black couple there that appeared to receive the same service that was provided for me. Will go...More

We received our food exactly 1 hour after we ordered. It was a Saturday night and they were busy, however that was an unacceptable wait time. My 4 year old granddaughter was so hungry and waiting for her grilled cheese. When we asked the manager...More

Description
Gotta give a shout out to the fantastic dinner my family enjoyed at John T's BBQ on the square in Winchester, TN. Some of the best dry-rub baby back ribs this Southern boy has ever eaten. Good sauce and sides but the highlight was the fall-off-the-bone ribs man!!! The restaurant needs to get added to Trip Advisor so more people know about it...on second thought, maybe I 'll keep it to myself.
