No surprises here. When you want eat with no surprises go to a chain restaurants. Everything is on a plan and the plan is the action. Normally it this way always no matter the where. Basic sane menu as in KY, TN, Anyplace. Can't complain. This place is classic SAME AS THE OTHER ONE

We usually only go to the Shoney's that are busy so we know the food hadn't been sitting for awhile. We had the buffet. Everything looked good. I made a good salad. Had the fried cornmeal fish and fried chicken. Both very good. Steve had some meat with gray looking gravy, not so good. Also the breaded piglets not that... More

We stopped here on our trip back home and everyone was very nice. The food was good and fresh also. It's behind the Weigler gas station.

The Shoney's visit came after a long day of travel because it was near our hotel. Everyone in our group (except for one person) got the buffet. It was okay. The corn & green beans were excellent. We had great service from our waitress. However, the majority of the food was just okay. I prefer Big Boy, only because the... More

I feel that this Shoneys location is cleaner than most, and it's not so crowded. Always a favorite of our kids.

I can't remember the last time we ate at Shoney's. We just eat from the buffet. It had a number of fine choices. The salad bar was nice and the steam table had some really good dishes too. I just can't over to the catfish though. The norm for catfish on a buffet is over cooked little dried up bricks.... More

Capri was her name and she had not personality at all. I ordered the buffett at first then realized that it had only lunch items on it so I had to wait to catch her eye to tell her that I wanted breakfast and asked her for a menu, you would have thought I asked her to go catch a... More

We were guests of dear friends of years gone by for breakfast as we were returning home from vacation. We live too far north now for Shoney's, but ate in their restaurants many times when we lived in Tennessee. We all chose their breakfast bar: pancakes, eggs, real grits, their signature gravy (one of the best), meats, fruits (even kiwis!),... More
