Usually I just say the place was good or not so good. Caney Fork was great, everything was delicious I had the wild game platter and my wife had the catfish with okra and potatoes. We shared everything and each item was as good as the previous. Frog legs, gator, Bison, stew, sausage, catfish and the sides, all were awesome.... More

We were a family of four out for dinner. When we arrived there were a ton of open tables but the wait was 20 minutes. Not sure why. We were seated in the bar area of the restaurant. Our serve was super sweet. Food was very good ( I got the fried green tomatoes and a salad). Everyone enjoyed their... More

Atmosphere is fine. Big restaurant across the street from the Opryland Hotel and Resort. We got there about 600 and didn't have any trouble getting a table. When we left there was a wait. I had the flat iron steak which didn't look like any flat iron steak I had ever had before. It looked more like a sirloin. I... More

This restaurant has a water feature indoors that has large catfish swimming around so you don't notice that you are waiting for your food. The decor is really not the usual so it was fun to look around.

Pros: Good service Corny decor, which is kind of fun Cons: Food-we didn't like anything and we ordered pretty basic stuff like a grilled chicken sandwich. Even the dessert tasted like the freezer. I don't recommend it.

My family came to Nashville for a quick getaway and stopped in at Caney Fork for dinner. Don't plan on eating dessert because the the portion sizes are generous. I had the venison sausage sandwich and it was great. My daughter had the BBQ dinner and it was really good too. Hubby had campfire platter with a little of everything.... More

Our family went to this restaurant based on the reviews and location across from Gaylord Opryland. They had a great fun, family environment with live band and catfish pond. The menu selection was plenty, including wild game. We ordered gator tail, bison, catfish and fried pickles for apps. Unfortunately the food was so greasy you weren't able to taste the... More

Went with my two adult sons. We tried frog legs for the first time and they were so good. If you've never had them, they have a chewy texture but taste delicious. The bison burger was nice and lean and cooked perfectly med rare. My Skillet steak was also med rare and seasoned nicely. We loved the corn fritters they... More
