Despite waiting in the rain for an hour and a half to get in to the show at 6pm on Sunday nights, we had a great time! Seeing the iconic Bluebird Cafe was awesome being a Nashville (ABC) television fan. The staff was helpful. Food was ok; you don't go there for the food, but instead for the music and... More

We absolutely LOVED going here! We went for Writers night and were lucky enough to see 25 separate acts. Most every one was amazing! It was a very special evening and the food was AMAZE BALLS! Go early (around 4) to line up, Ignore the grumpy security guy outside who keeps telling people they have no chance to get in.... More

The Bluebird Cafe was awesome! We went early (showed up at 3pm to wait in line for the 6pm show) and they opened the doors at 5pm. Great pulled bbq pork nachos and drinks. The band playing was the Red Wine Effect...two sisters who were wonderful!

What can I say about the legendary Bluebird Cafe? It was a must-see on our trip, and was one of the highlights. Knowing that it was popular, we went for the early show, figuring that if we didn't get into that one, we could go for the later one. We got there about 1.5 hours before the doors were due... More

I was lucky enough to get tickets online. We were limited on when we could go so I took whatever was available. Our seats were fabulous at Table 23. The entertainment was just okay. I found that all of the songs were a little on the slow side and quite obscure. It was neat to listen to some of their... More

In the casual atmosphere and intimate setting of the Bluebird Cafe, you can enjoy hearing how your favorite songs - and perhaps some new soon-to-be favorites, came to be. The singer-songwriters share their personal songs and stories of how they were created. On the night we visited, we were treated to the best: Tom Schuyler, Fred Knobloch, Tony Arata, and... More

Scored a bar seat and had an amazing night. All of the performers were incredible. A privelege to see writers describing and performing their own work. 8 hour one way drive and it was totally worth it. If you can get a ticket, I HIGHLY recommend putting this stop on your bucket list.

So I didn't know much about the Bluebird other than reservations are hard to get. I'm glad we got a table. This place is an opportunity for songwriters to have their songs heard. We got to listen to writers that had written songs for King George, Reba, and others. It was a relaxing evening listening to 4 different songwriters perform... More

We didn't have reservations, but still made it in for the Friday 6:30 show by waiting in line. There were 15-20 people ahead of us when we arrived 1.5 hours before showtime. The wait was worth it. There were four performers taking turns. Each musician sang and played acoustic guitar. While waiting in line before the show, one performer, Lance... More

As the other reviews state, you MUST plan ahead to see a show here. I'm glad we did, it was a unique music experience. It is also not overly expensive. The ticket prices are reasonable and you must simply spend $10 on food/drink while there. I would love to return someday as it seems that each show has its own... More
