Best pie in town along with great calzones. Anti pasto salads are great. Family owned business from NY that knows how to make great good. Go and try the pizza on your trip. You will be hooked and will want to come back for everything else.

30 years ago in High School, I worked for an authentic Italian Restaurant. They made everything by scratch and yet it falls way short in comparison to Joeys. My goodness this place has awesome pizza. I mean, how else could a place like this survive on Elm Hill Pike where they close in mid afternoon and are never open on... More

Best Italian restaurant in Nashville. Open from 11-2 M-F. The portions are huge. It's a cafeteria style restaurant. My favorite is the lasagna and garlic bread. At lunch the line is always out the door, but don't turn away because it's fast service. You will not be disappointed.

Although we are New Yorkers with very high pizza standards, we thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our half pepperoni and half cheese pizza. Well worth the wait. All employees were incredibly friendly and fun. The toppings are generous, the crust is just the right thickness, and the sauce is perfect (not overly sweet or bitter). The gooey cheese is, of... This food here is just amazing. Small and crazy busy, but delicious, and a very fun, high energy family at the helm. They have "order cards" in the waiting line to help you choose from among any number of specials (e.g. two slices with a side and a drink; pasta special with a salad and a drink, etc.) and which... Originally I'm from Indiana but I've been to New York and had some pizza from some little original place there but Joeys was soooo much better! My husband and I decided to go here because it was rated #1 place to eat and we had been driving for 6 hours and got there right around 10:50 and there was a... More

Wait, price and parking not worth it. It was very confusing and crowded. Place was very small and it felt like no matter where you stood while waiting on food you were in way of some one either trying to throw stuff away in garbage can, get drinks, get food or leave. Got to give it to lady getting the... More

Pulled up at 1055 on a Friday and had to wait 20 minutes in line. Mostly locals but we were from out of town and followed Trip Advisors recommendation and we were not disappointed. I opted for the 2 slice lunch special because I love NY style pizza and it was perfect. Thin and crunchy crust but not the kind... More

This is some of the very best Italian food that I have ever had. You know you are in for some great food when you have to get there early to avoid a wait.
