Great place to stop for a Big beer and a Schnitzel. Friendly service and quick service. Try the Nashville hot chicken Schnitzel was very tasty, loved the German Potato Salad as well.

Although the beer was cold and the Rueben was good I have to give this place 1 star based on the cost. I got three sixteen ounce drafts and the sandwich and with a tip it was $75 which is outrageous. Like all the places...I went to in Nashville it’s an overpriced tourist trap.More

Wow, was this a bad experience. Server Carver S, we explained that this was our first time here. He didn't explain anything. Just said, "Did you want to start with an appetizer? Said no. Are you ready to order. I asked for a few minutes....3 times he did this like he was in a hurry or busy. Only 5 tables with people in the whole restaurant. We ordered Rouladen, Scheweinbraten, an appetizer of Ruben rolls. First, the Ruben rolls had just a couple of small flecks of corned beef in them, and the sauce had no flavor as well. Our dinners, like our appetizer, had no flavor and were just barley warm. Sides spetzel was bland as was the sauerkraut was bland and just warm as well. Asked about silverware, it's in the cups on the table. After looking inside the cups (dirty), we got silverware and used napkins to wipe off. The server kept coming back to ask if he could clear the table or bring a box. We told him no, it's like he wanted us gone or he was getting off shift. We now know why they weren't busy. Stay clear of this one. We love German food. This one was really BAD all the way. Service, Food and Cleanliness all Bad. Over 80.00, anywhere else would have been better, anywhere. Hope we save your time and moneyMore

I don’t usually write reviews, but felt I needed to save people from this place. Four people ordered schnitzel. This was a one inch thick piece of pork cooked to death. The gravy was so bad you had to scrape it off the spoon. The...spatzel was tasteless. I have eaten schnitzel all over the country & in Germany. This was the worst. Beer was good. Service was good.More

I spent 4 years in Germany and the authenticity of your recipes, presentation, music, and environment are one of the best I've seen in years. Prices are a little higher than I usually am willing to pay (unless it is a special occasion), but it...was worth it! I just wish someone had told me they have live music when I sat down so I could have watched the show!More

This food is disrespectful to all things Bavarian. If someone has never had German food the might think they don’t like it after eating here. The snitzel was thick and tasteless. The yager gravy had a few sporadic mushrooms and was far to thick and...tasted like it had flour or some other filler in it. Next we move on to the spatzel texture was stoggy and also lacked flavor. Lastly the meal was rounded out with bland cabbage, red cabbage should be sweet and pickled in vinegar. It was dry and also bland. My friend ordered the snitzel cordon blue and they no crap put a pice of ham and cheese on top. They should have paid me to eat this.More

After reading other reviews, I was very cautious to eat here; however, we had a fantastic experience!! Our party of 8 arrived early and were immediately sat. You can order from your waitress or on your phone. People at our table did both. Service was...fantastic. It was not loud or boisterous (we ate on a Saturday afternoon). The food was good. I highly recommend the Reuben egg rolls. It was a very fun experience. We had 4 veterans in our group, one of which had lived in Europe for quite some time, so it was walk down memory lane.More

My sisters and I were very excited to try out this German restaurant as we were visiting the Opry House and Gaylord Hotel. I have to admit we were a bit disappointed. The spaetzle was probably three tablespoons (if that). Had no flavor at all....The red cabbage was ok. The schnitzel was not too bad. Was really a small portion considering the price. I don't think we will go back there again.More

We found the Bierhaus while looking for another attraction. Glad we decided to give it a shot. We were greeted and taken to our seat. The seating is similar to that in the Haufbrauhaus in Munich. Long tables at which other diners may be seated...at the same table. Staff wears German style attire. Our server, Madeline, was very friendly and personable. She kept our water glasses full and checked on us frequently, despite being very busy. I ordered the pork schnitzel and sauerkraut. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very delicious. The music was not really comparable to what is traditionally heard at the Haufbrauhaus. The food is quite pricey, but well worth it. Overall, a great experience. It brought back memories of my visit to Haufbrauhaus in Munich.More

We fry them crispy as a rule. That's the way I like them too. But if you want to be certain, please just ask your server to ensure they come out that way. Prost! Bob
