The Peppercorn has a great range of options, from pub classics to more modern dishes. The options to add extra seafood to your main meal for $6 are great, I had the calamari and it was a generous serve (for the price) and well cooked. The wine list is extensive, and I really liked the local cider. I will certainly visit again the next time I am in the area.

Our first time visit to this hotel did not disappoint. The building itself is exquisite with great atmosphere. We ordered the barramundi special which came with a generous serve of chips and a slightly minty devine salad. The food was served very quickly but the only reason for not giving 5 stars was because they were too busy (or forgot) to come back to us for a second round of drinks orders.
I would definitely visit again though.

Too many times we have driven past Yea to hurry on to our destination, normally Bright. Not any more! We needed a pit stop and this place was perfect. Run by a young and enthusiastic couple who have set this place up beautifully. The food covers all tastebuds and they even have some rather scrummy port available, you'll have to go there to see what I mean!!
Can't recommend this place enough. We are stopping everytime from now on!

My partner and I stayed at the Yea Peppercorn Hotel whilst cycling the Great Victorian Rail Trail. It is a beautiful old pub, the rooms are lovely and clean. Huge towels and plenty of supplies including fine soaps & a bonus breakfast. We enjoyed beers in the garden under the trees and ate dinner that night in the restaurant. The food was 10/10. The staff are very friendly and helpful, good to see the restaurant full of locals. The Peppercorn is well situated near the rail trail and not that far from the Main Street. Bring a bike lock as bike storage is outside. All in all a fantastic place to stay, we’ll definitely be back!

We 6, 4 adults and 2 children had dinner at the Peppercorn, Yea last weekend. Lovely atmosphere, great service, and the best seafood platter I've had in a long time, which I shared with my husband. The other adults had the reef'n'beef which was also perfectly cooked. The children had a good selection of meals also. Well done Peppercorn, we'll be back.

Service was great, very accomodating. First time dining in. My partner and I enjoyed our meals, Parma and steak. Never had a Parma like that before, different but very nice. You definitely can’t get a Parma like that in the suburbs. The old style settings was great. The log fire heater just gave it that complete charm, warm and cosy. We will definitely come back. Country pubs meals are always more enjoyable rather than just normal suburban pub meals.

It's a beautiful old building on the outside but does not give away the ambience and decor. But wait got to give a rap to the staff who are friendly, professional and nothing was a problem. But wait there's more sounds like I'm about to give away steak knives. The food a delight. What more can I say.

Peppercorn Hotel Bistro is more like a restaurant than a pub. Great vibe, great staff & the best food. The ‘Peppercorn Parma’ was the best. My wife had the Cauliflower salad which was amazing. We would have loved to have stayed there but they were booked out. Can’t wait to go back.

A pleasant venue with friendly staff, a good menu but over rated/priced meals. The mains were in the $30+ up to $50 range and deserts $14, were tasty but didn’t meet our expectations of the venue.

Wandering from the Yea caravan park we came across this delightful pub It was not our intention to do anything but have an exercise walk! Instead we sat comfortably in the lounge with an ice cold beer.
We also perused the menu but kept a dinner there for an other time. There were many customers obviously happy. The Christmas decorations were tasteful, not in our face and the yesteryear atmosphere was pleasing.
This pub complemented the small town of Yea. Go for a walk and see if you find this pub with its friendly staff.
