3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Spent the week starting 19 Mar 17 in Rutherglen with my wife and some friends playing golf and wine tasting. Had lunch at the Pickled Sisters Cafe and was not that impressed. The staff were disorganized and the cafe layout was very cramped with excess furniture stacked around the back wall. The food was a bit hit and miss, as... More

I would have to say without a doubt, Pickled Sisters Cafe is my go to place to eat in Rutherglen, being at Cofield Winery is just a bonus. We had a slow cooked pork belly with a matched wine, it was truly amazing. I have never had an ordinary meal here, nor ordinary service. Try it yourself, see if I... More

This place needs to put a sign up on the road if they don't serve lunch after 2pm on a Saturday - at least the woman said she would ask but the chef said they couldn't even prepare a platter to have on the lawn as there was a wedding they had to prepare for a wedding! Pretty slack in... More

We enjoyed lunch here and were pleased to be able to sit outside on the deck as it meant our small dog could be with us. Restaurant staff kindly provided a bowl of water for the dog. We visited after several emails which had been sent to find out more about the restaurant. We thank the staff for responding in... More

Called in unannounced for lunch and the staff made us very welcome and settled us in despite no reservation. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. The meal entitles customers to 5% discount on wine purchases at Cofield winery cellar door. Definitely worth a visit for both wine tasting and especially a meal

After tasting the wines next door, it was a no brainer that we'd sit down for a meal and why oh why have we not done that before. The food is fabulous, the staff cheery and service prompt. Tables were kept busy when we were there so it wasn't just us that appreciated it; looking forward to my next visit... More

30of us descended on The Pickled Sister for breakfast (it was prearranged). The service was friendly and fast. Coffees came quickl. The meals were very tasty and the wait was short. A very tasty meal and provided a lovely start to our tour of the Tastes of Rutherglen.

We are a group of 13 playing golf at Tocumwal. We did a winery tour the other day and finished at the Pickled Sisters Cafe at he Cofield Winery. All the group agreed the food was fantastic coupled with great service meant we had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend to any foodies. Would also recommend Pfiffers and All Saints... More

Two of us had visited The Pickled Sisters several years ago for lunch and for a subsequent take-away picnic basket, and we were determined to show off the establishment to our friends. We think that the front of house staff have changed (they weren't quite as highly decorated as the Sisters on the last visit), but they showed the same... More

Great café, home cooked delights were very inspired and very tasty, and the coffee was good. Sat outside in the sun and enjoyed our treats.
