Great food (though a tad expensive) but definitely worth it. Had a lovely tart and others had the ploughman's lunch (super), the vegetable fritters (great) and shine foccacias (pretty good too). Their Carrot cake is one of the best I've ever had!

Pulled into this little town and in need of a good coffee. Wasn't disappointed with a great coffee, and the best scones with jam & cream. Hot out of the oven and OMG they were massive.

Food was very good. Twice cooked goats cheese soufflé was extraordinary! Burger, 5 stars. Plough mans lunch, really really good. Flathead, 👍🏼👍🏼. So, in conclusion I'll be back!

Must have visited 20 times at least in the last 4 years. Food is as good as anywhere in Melbourne. Very large range of 'to die for ' cakes as well as a pretty trendy menu. We will keep coming back !

Visited today for lunch with friends. Four of us, two couples. The food was excellent, the coffee was the best coffee I've had in a very long time. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Wish I was going to be in the area longer so I could visit again. Will be getting a coffee in the morning before I leave,... More

A lovely little café converted from the General Store. Very nicely renovated with an attached outdoor eating area. Prompt and friendly service, great coffee and absolutely delicious cakes! Well worth a visit.

Always a pleasure to drop in and take friends for a bite to eat here. Not disappointed. Haloumi fritters flavoursome, flathead tasted so fresh. Pancakes and smoked salmon definitely a must. Coffee spot on and decent pot of tea to drink. Always love the scones, especially just out of the oven. Jam for scones lovely but rediculous to get onto... More

Quick bite to eat for lunch. Food was ok but nothing to rave about. Service was good. Had a serve of flathead and chips which were nice and Susie had toasted sandwich, hard to stuff that up!

Port Albert Cafe & Wine bar, is a delightful gem. Also known as The General Store, the building has a long history in the seaside village. The range of dishes offered is extensive, with delightful varieties offered. Fully licensed, a variety of local beers and wines are stocked. Kim's magnificent cakes are made on the premises, so if you just... More
