"A restaurant has a legal responsibility to ensure customers safety, especially if you've warned server of your allergy. If you suffer an allergic reaction from the food you are served, you are be able to sue the restaurant for negligence." Ate here with my friend....When we ordered, we asked the server if they can cook Chicken Tikka Masala without nuts. He is allergic to nuts, all kind of nuts. We repeated it to her 3x. She replied yes and she even wrote it down. When the food came, we asked again if she is sure that there is no nuts. She confirmed that there is no nuts! My friend tried a little bit of the masala, He immediately started to itch & his lips started to swell, his throat became congested. My friend told her again to ask the kitchen if they cooked it with nuts by mistake. The server said, it is from FROZEN, they can not change it. We asked for the manager and he confirmed that it has almonds. He apologized and said that the server is just new, she did not know. He said not to worry we do not have to pay for the Chicken Tikka Masala! Really?!!! If you are a good manager, you should have trained your server well especially about food allergy because the customer can end up in the hospital or worse die! We took photos of the food and I also took photos of his swollen lips. I am a registered nurse, so I gave him Claritin, if this does not help or his throat congestion gets worse, we will go to the emergency department tonight! Will never come back to this awful place where they serve FROZEN FOOD!More

We ordered delivery through GrubHub which has been an excellent delivery service. Is Persis trying to compensate by inflating their prices and minimizing their portions? The food is good, but portions have gotten even smaller, enough to say it definitely isn't worth the price. If...they are trying to compensate their loss of business, they are doing it wrong.More

Ordered online and paid online. Received call from restaurant that they were out of an item we ordered. I asked for a reasonable substitution. There were some choices. None of which appealed to us. We selected Ginger Chicken. It was very good. Along with the...Tandoori and Butter Chicken. No complaint about the taste of the food. My complaint is about portion size. For $50.00 this what we received 4 small pieces of Tandoori chicken, 2 cups of rice, a cup of Butter chicken, a cup of Ginger Chicken and 3 pieces of Naan. Totally not worth it. There are other choices where the staff is friendlier and the food portions are reasonable. Will not return.More

I was passing through Mt, Juliet on a road trip and a friend who had been there many times for work recommended Persis. It was an easy drive from my hotel, the Hampton Inn. I was hoping they'd have palaak paneer, my favorite (I've been...to India about a half-dozen times and love it) and was happy to see it on the menu. Most of the appetizers seemed to be deep-fried but I ordered naan bread to accompany it and it was perfect. This was takeout so the picture isn't that appetizing- palaak paneer looks like strained spinach baby food anyway, but it was delicious. I ordered Medium spicy but next time will order it spicier. I do this trip every couple of months and will be back for dinner here!More

Great bread and tandoori chicken. Will be going back. We got the food curbside due to COVID. Great experience.

This place is phenomenal. If you can handle some building heat get the Goat biryani(look out for bones but worth it). The Butter Chicken is delicious. Get the Cheese Naan.

The food was hot and excellent. I do not like a lot of spice and my butter chicken was perfect. My husband does like spice and had Tikka masala spiced up and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were disappointed they didn’t have any “Indian” beer, couldn’t...understand if they don’t have it or we’re out of it. We had a little bit of a language barrier with our waitress. Overall this is a bright, friendly restaurant with good food.More

This is simply the best Indian Food you will ever have. My wife and I are from England and New Zealand where Indian cuisine is one of the most popular. We have eaten at Indian restaurants all over the US and nothing beats Persis Biryani...Indian Grill. The curries are thick and delicious. The flavors are incredible. If you are looking for the very best Indian restaurant ANYWHERE, then your search is over. You will not be disappointed.More

Had a wonderful lunch at Persis - the lunch special had so much food! Naan, soup, rice, appetizer and main. The Gobi65 and the chicken tikka masala were fantastic. Also the chicken biryani was delicious and filling. Our server was so kind and helpful. I...wish I remembered his name! Will be back!More

I've been to India four times. Persis puts out some incredible Indian food. They have great lunch specials. Dinner is a bit more expensive than other places. Their chicken tika masala is fantastic as is their tandori. I wish I worked in Mt Juliet so...I could take advantage of their lunch special more oftenMore
