We were recommended to come here when driving through. We had lamb pie for breakfast and then lamb pie for lunch, oh and one of the best vanilla slices I've ever had. The coffee fresh and strong. A must when driving through do yourself a...More

Many thanks for the feedback! We have only taken over as new owners of the Dunkeld Old Bakery at the start of July. The first thing we did was introduce our Lamb pie, it seemed a little remiss to live in some of the best...More

Had coffee and fruit toast. Latte only lukewarm. Toast good but small serving. Service not great. Didn't realise you had to go to counter to order until after we finally did and a sign then appeared saying that. Would have been better if the young...More

Hi Jochru We appreciate the feedback, and you were absolutely right - it was our very first reopening the bakery after a change in ownership, and our barista was overseas visiting her family in the UK. We'd love the opportunity to make it up to...More

Now, if you ever pass Dunkeld make sure you take a turn for and stop at the old bakery. Treat yourself to one of the best coffee and orange cake.

Do a nice coffee, good cake selection and outstanding sausage rolls. A block from main street but well signposted from Glenelg Highway. Tables outside in sun under verandah if weather good, otherwise, cosy inside.

We stayed Queen room at the front of the bakery and we were unfortunately disappointed with our stay. Our shower and toilet were located in a separate bathroom to our room which was also a 'shared' toilet facility for the bakery patrons. We felt like...More

We went to this bakery on the back of reviews in TripAdvisor but we were disappointed. It was over-priced and over-rated. Boring decor, bad paintings, stand-offish staff and food that wasn't even that good. $14.50 for a BLT? Are you serious?
