Tonita III is a lovely restaurant, overlooking the beautiful beach at Rincon de Guayabitos. It is family owned/run. The service is wonderful, and the food, like all the Tonitas, is wonderful.

This restaurant is efficient and very fast paced. They sit you down and you will get your food and drinks very quickly. The food is good and they offer a large variety of authentic Mexican cuisine.

On the beach, quiet, excellent sevice, good food and wine. The only drawback was after dark returning to our villa. No lighting on the beach or back road.

The food Is good - the same menu as Tonita I and II. Breakfasts are delicious, seafood dishes are creative. This location is on the beach, as well as Tonita I at the other end of town. Tonita II iis on Avenida Sol Nuevo, the Main Street. It just depends on how far you want to walk. I prefer the... More

We went on a Saturday night. On that night, they only do one seating, all by reservation, and have live music for dancing. This event was definitely geared at snowbirders. They played all Vietnam era dance music and served mostly americanized foods. I was all excited to go that night, as I had experienced the band in the past, but... More

We have been here every year since Tonita's opened their third place on the South end of the beach. Always a good time. Great food and consistent with other locations.

We enjoyed our lunch very much..only complaint I had..was too many tortillas in the Azteca soup..I know it is supposed to have these in it...but it was too many for my taste...but the broth was very good.. My husband Tom...enjoyed his Tonita Shrimp very much....there are 3-4 shrimp wrapped with bacon, ham & cheese....then dipped in bread crumbs & quickly... More

This family run business has been here for many, many years. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is consistently good. I love the pasta with shrimp/mushroom sauce but the stuffed chicken is equally good. Huge menu and a beautiful spot on the beach. Sunsets made to order too.
