Our favourite restaurant in Welshpool with generous portions of delicious food. Good for vegetarian, vegan and allergies with a wide range of options. Mr Ali cooked us a delicious feast for our wedding, with options for all the family including kids. He brought the food to our house in large pans to stay warm, coming dressed in his best Bangladeshi outfit. We had enough for another meal the next day! Far cheaper than specialist wedding caterers if you don't mind self-service and own crockery.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Friendly service. They recommended the garlic chicken curry which was very tasty and everything was freshly cooked. We also ordered the mixed tandoori platter which was good.

We booked a table, although when we got there it was quiet...goodness knows why - its a great Indian Restaurant! Great service and the food was so good and so tasty. Its great you can take your own drinks (always a bonus). Like I said, service was great and with a smile, food was piping hot and tasty and great value. Would definitely eat there again.

Ok we wanted to grab something to eat before the football came on TV, and had spotted this place on our arrival to Welshpool. We walked past in the afternoon and looked through the window and thought it look decent (typical small Indian “Bangladeshi restaurant) and though it doesn’t serve alcohol (Muslim respect) you can take your own. Now the owner “Mohamed Ali” was a very friendly man, very attentive and we enjoyed chatting with him whilst ordering, as we questioned the pictures on the wall, and we’re given an interesting history lesson on Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Sometimes a little conversation makes life friendlier and more interesting, shame it doesn’t happen enough! Anyway the two meals we ordered, chicken dupiaza and chicken tikka Balti were beautiful at a reasonable price, and though our very was quite brief, would recommend trying Spice Fusion.

Highly recommend Spice Fusion. The poppadoms were crispy, the pickle tray had great selection, loved the lime pickle. The prawns were cooked perfectly in my dish. My wife had the chicken Koria, it was very tasty with the correct amount of spice as requested by her. Added bonus to the restaurant you can take your own alcohol. The owner was very friendly, conversing with us after our meal. We asked if he would book a taxi for us which he obliged.

Excellent evening with excellent food & service. Authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, there's an extensive menu, the chef came & spoke to us about the dishes. Located in the centre of Welshpool with a large car park close by. Welcoming and friendly service, great atmosphere. Taking your own drinks, with glasses provided, make this a great value night out.

We were staying near the Welshpool area for a week and had a few local takeaways over the course of the week - this was by far the best. Ordered food for 6 people, everything well cooked and tasty - all enjoyed the dishes. Will be sure to order from you guys when we are in the area again!

We had an excellent meal with delicious food that was both reasonable, tasty and plentiful. There is a large menu which caters for all tastes. The service was quick and attentive. We always choose Spice Fusion for our takeaways but were very happy with our dinning in meal. Highly recommended and very reasonably priced.

Delicious food! From start to main, the food was fresh and prepared as we waited. I had the chicken dhansak and my spouse had the prawn pattiah. The chicken was tender and the mix of spices was perfect. The pattiah had a generous amount of prawns. We will definitely return for the delicious food.

This proved a good choice for the first night of walking the last five stages of the Offa's Dyke Walk. We received helpful personal service and enjoyed the flavours of freshly cooked food using a tasty fusion of spices with Welsh lamb. The staff were very attentive and keen we should be satisfied. After scouring the town on the evening of our arrival and disappointed by limited suitable choices for us there, we were relieved to find an Indian restaurant offering an early evening sit-down meal of good quality close to our overnight accommodation.

The waiter who took our order and brought our food to the table was brilliant. He helped us choose something different and he was spot on. The waiter was very attentive, polite and helpful, he was also a great conversationalist. The food was brilliant, as ever, we took our own alcohol, making it a cheaper night. Thank you we will keep coming back!

Lovely dinner with friends. Bring your own alcohol. Papa dam was deliciously fresh. The Shakoura special had layers of rich flavor. The Zalwa special had a great garlic undertone, with onion, bell peppers and a heat that reminds of Bangladesh . Saag Aloo and garlic naan rounded out the meal perfectly. Service was very pro.

Stopped on the way through Welshpool looking for a bite to eat on route to friends in South Wales, came upon Spice Fusion and booked a table for two. Staff very courteous and welcoming, food was very very good. Chicken Shashlick main and a Prawn Jalfrezi quickly consumed down to the great cooking and flavour, highly recommended. Will call again if in the area. Enjoy.

A friend recommended this place just as lockdown had ended and, free from house arrest, we set off for our first meal out in months. Covid safe with an apparently new layout and room between tables to distance we began tucking into some popadoms and salad along with our own wine which they merrily uncorked for us. The three bottles we drank would have reasonably added £100 to our bill in a licensed restaurant and we left 2 hrs later having spent only around £35 on the tastiest range of curry flavours and strengths we’ve experienced in many a year. The unassuming shop frontage does little justice to what sits behind allowing for a spacious, clean and extremely friendly welcome, with the chef visible cooking away in his kitchen at the very rear of the restaurant. Amongst the dishes was a lamb madras where the lamb literally melted in your mouth and two chicken dishes totally different in flavour but where the chicken was fresh, white, well trimmed and quite delicious. As we left I complimented the chef on our experience telling him we lived in the midlands where competition for well priced, high quality Indian food was extremely high and saying how much we’d enjoyed it; he smiled and nodded appreciatively. I’ve travelled around India and was unable to place his accent specifically and as we left I leaned back through the doorway and asked politely where his roots were from originally. He simply smiled and said “have you heard of a place called Walsall? We drive in from there every day 🙈🙈”
