Small restaurant in an old farm kitchen with just a few tables creating a very relaxed and intimate setting. The menu is also small featuring mainly classic meals but very well put together. We had a three course meal for a set price and everything was beautifully cooked. They catered well for me being unable to eat gluten including some GF bread when I arrived with olives which was a really nice touch. Also the wine list is very impressive although I was driving this time so didn't get to sample. Lovely food and recommended.

We both had the 3 course menu and everything was delicious. At the time of booking we were asked about allergies, on arrival gluten free bread was given to me. Which was a really nice touch Everything was freshly cooked and really high quality. The whole atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend

We had a lovely experience in an intimate setting. The host was relaxed, friendly and keen to please. The food superb. We felt the atmosphere would be enhanced by maybe some light background music as, being a 6 table venue, we could hear all table conversations. Although the menu was a little limited, the food we had was beautifully cooked and fairly priced. Overall we had a lovely meal in a quaint restaurant, where it is clear that the aim is to please the customer. Definitely worth a visit.

What a lovely evening we had at the seeds. I love a family run bistro and this didn’t disappoint it was just perfect. Small and cosy with a fab host and gorgeous food. I had the mackerel pate and my husband had the soup both piping hot and tasty we followed with fillet steak and chicken both served with local seasonal veg and I then left enough room thank goodness for creme brûlée yummy I think one of the best meals I have had in a long time. It is also a fixed price with a vast wine selection. Thank you for a lovely time and we will be back.

If you are in this area and are looking for that special little place.... Look no further than Seeds it will not disappoint. We've ate in some lovely restaurants in our time but this is up there. The front of house is the right balance of care and attention but allowing you space to enjoy the evening, whilst the chef is all about taste. This is classic cuisine without the pretentiousness of some fine dining establishments that try to put on style over substance. This chef gets the balance perfect for me a true sage of taste nothing here that doesn't contribute to the meal. The finish of treacle tart for me was a true genius at work the little addition of lemon to counter act this often to sweet tart and the texture was excellent... Simply I've eaten no better version of this. Do yourself a favour and book... You'll have no regrets. I can't wait to go back. A true gem. Thanks Alan 👍

We visited the restaurant based on reviews and were certainly not disappointed. Seeds is a lovely restaurant, excellent food and really charming service. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second visit for a couple of days later. We had the lamb one night and the fillet steak the next which were just superb, I had the steak cooked “french-medium” and it arrived perfectly cooked. There is a great selection of wines to choose from and next visit will be by taxi!

I visited Seeds with my friend on several occasions during lunch time 2 yrs ago but hadn't been for an evening meal. We weren't disappointed the sea bass was cooked beautifully the flavour was amazing. The veg and potatoes were very completing to the fish. We had dessert to follow white chocolate cheesecake with salted caramel. The service was excellent and you made to feel in a very relaxed atmosphere.

What a great restaurant - cosy, quaint, small and intimate, and with the most wonderful menu of food to choose from, and not the usual run of the mill options either. Steak was cooked to perfection and a main course of devilled kidneys was just exquisite. The restaurant is very friendly and we were made to feel extremely welcome. All in all, it was a great night out, so much so that we are already planning another trip to the area, just so we can visit the restaurant again.

Nice little restaurant obviously run by people who enjoy hospitality. Very welcoming host, convivial atmosphere, well constructed menu with varied choices and all food well cooked and presented. Do book as it is small and not open every day.

Came for dinner with family. We wanted something different from the usual Mid Wales pub food and enjoyed a decent meal in pleasant, quirky surroundings. The service was good and attentive and the price reasonable.

Lovely interior, classy, traditional, quaint and we were all made to feel welcome. Appreciated a real restaurant for a change not the pub / 'eaterie' hybrid common in these parts. Far above the standards of other establishments for miles around and the food was perfectly cooked and something you would rather expect in a top end professional restaurant in a city centre perhaps. Easy to see why they got their Michelin award. The hostess was chatty and interested. We had a lovely evening and will return again. Thank you!

Wonderful from the moment they greeted us till the moment we got back in the car to drive home. Food was easily one of the most flavoursome meals I have ever eaten, had the Welsh Lamb gorgeous. He had the sirloin steak said it was the most tender piece of meat he ever had. Highly recommended, 3 courses cos why wouldn't you have homemade treacle tart to round off such a fabulous food experience ?

Booked a few days in advance (recommended), and had a lovely meal here. Started with the salmon and warm greek salad, followed by roast rack of lamb and filet steak (done blue), and oh it was amazing. And as for the wine list... lots of our favourites so we were spoiled for choice really. Felicity & Mark are great hosts and they have a little gem here. Would highly recommend their restaurant if you are in Llanfyllin for a night or so.

Visited during the pandemic and felt very safe with very few tables spaced apart. The food was very very good - I will be looking for recipes for a similar spiced parsnip soup until the day I die (or better still until I get it right). Blackcurrant sorbet with creme de cassis also a highlight. A husband and wife team - one an amazing cook and the other a warm and welcoming host. Diolch o galon!

Having just moved to the area we were delighted to discover this lovely little restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, presented beautifully and with portion sizes that pleased my husband! I had a wonderful risotto starter and my husband had a watermelon and feta salad. We followed with halloumi and fish mains accompanied by a lovely vegetable selection. Be both decided we were far too full for desert until we heard about the lemon a blackcurrant posset. Oh my word! Amazing! We will be back...
