Food and service was absolutely amazing. The quality and combination of foods and flavours are incredible but without the snobbery that you would encounter at restaurants of a similar standard.

Why oh why haven't I been here sooner. What a little gem. Situated tucked out of the way near Newborough Beach in Anglesey this lovely little eatery was the last thing I expected to find. Liam and Ellis who owned the restaurant couldn't have been nicer lads. They obviously have a passion for good food. However It's not cheap neither... More

6 of us dined here for a 60th Birthday and all had the 7 course taster menu. Tastebuds were tantalised throughout, new foods sampled and textures and colours were perfect. It was the first time we have visited having been in the island for 2 1/2 years, but it won't be that long before we return. Ellis and Liam took... More

We visited here at lunchtime on a Friday after a long walk to whet our appetite. We had pre booked which might not have been necessary as it was early March, but it does get booked up so would recommend booking. It was our third visit & we were as delighted as ever with the food & the choice on... More

A cosy & eccentric setting. Our waitress was very kind & her boyfriend is the chef who trained at the oyster catcher. I'm confident his culinary skills could give him access to the top kitchens in the world. I had the beef brisket which was much more than the title suggests & simply put, divine. It's a very small &... More

My partner and I visited for the second time having had an excellent meal on our first visit - again we weren't disappointed. The food is imaginative, very well presented and the flavours will have your taste buds tingling. This isn't the cheapest place to eat, but it's definitely value for money - the place also has a really nice... More

This was our first visit to the marram grass and it certainly won't be our last. The whole experience was excellent, the menu isn't vast but every dish is carefully thought out, prepared with fresh local ingredients, the combination of flavours and textures is wonderful. My husband and I love to cook and prefer to eat in unless we are... More

Very very good experience. Service was excellent and friendly. Food was of the highest standard and quality. Seasonal and locally sourced seems to be mostly the case. We were waxing lyrical about the food. It's a special place to go. It's not the norm. It's different. There is a good vibe. It's sort of got an alternative buzz going on... More

Description
We started The Marram Grass because we believed we could create a place that offers good, creative food using local produce and seafood, all within an informal setting.

On Anglesey we are surrounded by beautiful produce, fresh fish and shellfish and it is not lost on our team of chefs. We work hard to keep our menu moving and we change them regularly to best accommodate the fresh and seasonal produce that comes in through our door.

In our low-key setting we have create an inviting and relaxed atmosphere without taking any shortcuts on quality. We have a full, purposeful wine list and a selection of local beers, as well as a good selection of some the the worlds Gins.

We offer small portions of our menu for children and are happy to accommodate, well behaved dogs as long as they sit under the table.

We want you to eat with us, we enjoy our job hosting and cooking so come on over and try us out. See you soon, The Marram Grass Team x
