Fantastic chef! Great local produce, Fantastic choice on the menu and reasonably priced. Food piping hot too which was great. The full English breakfast was amazing, sausages, eggs, bacon, black pudding, tomatoes, beans and fried bread, toast, juices, cereals, tea and coffee..... dining room near the window is a bonus as the view of the harbour, beach, sea and mountain... This was a great place to stay for a long family weekend. At only £16pppn and a fantastic breakfast of desperate dan proportions it was hard to complain about anything. The decor/rooms needed a lick of paint, but actually it was all fine as we spent most of the time out and about. Please visit the Stafg Inn (just 2-3... More

A large group of us sat outside just after new year for a cup of tea after a long cycle ride. Not sure they wanted our custom? Very offhand waitress, forgot about part of our order and we had to go and ask for the tea. Hot chocolates were cold. Place was busy and she did appear to be on... More

We visited for lunch last week. The bar was empty on our arrival other than 2 locals at the bar itself. Service was good and the coffee was hot and good quality. We chose seats in the window with views of the harbour. Our hot steak and onion sandwich was tasty and nicely presented, though a little short on onion!... More

Stopped for a coffee and decided to stay for a sandwich. Good choice of fillings served on lovely thick bloomer bread with small salad. Nice conservatory room overlooking the harbour.

Just had a takeaway jacket potato with cheese - thought it was a bit expensive at £5.95. On opening the box found the contents consisted of a jacket potato cheese and nothing else. No salad, nothing extra and £5.95. Complete rip off. Won't be back again.

Dog friendly, however stunk of fuel not sure what, service took a long time, landlord unsociable sat at the bar talking to friends, food arrived minus the drinks, so service was poorer than the food,

Staff are excellent and friendly Food is ok but not gastro standard. Too much covered in sauces etc. Really desperate for interior decorating and replacement of all ripped seating

Had to book for a Saturday night, and its worth doing so.The staff cant do enough to make your meal good and they have a great chef as the grub that emanates from the kitchen was good wholesome food worthier of a better looking restaurant
