Nice enough pub with welcoming staff - wholesome hearty food. Served promptly and drinks were reasonably priced.

From past experience, eating out in N Wales on the Saturday night of a bank holiday weekend can be a disaster, but the Union at Tremadog was great. Got a real welcome and very friendly and helpful staff. Hot and tasty food with reasonable prices. Recommended.

We were a group of 12 and booked a table quite last minute and we were so pleased The Union Inn were able to accommodate us. The food was fine, but my main compliant would be how the owner treated the vegan in our group! She made quite a few inappropriate comments, one example when she asked how her (vegan)... More

I had the place and new potatoes the night before, the fish was cooked well and flavoursome. The staff were pleasant and friendly, quite a... More

The pub is cosy but the woman in her late fifties who seemed in charge was shouty and very rude to us. She scolded us in an unfriendly manner. Younger staff were fine though. We won't come again- pub across the street has nice staff.

The Union Inn is a friendly village pub dating back to the 19th Century. It is situated in the picturesque and historic village of Tremadog, gateway to the Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula. We are a freehold, family run pub, focussing on excellent food and drink and professional service in a friendly environment. We welcome families in both the bar and restaurant. As a traditional village pub, we always welcome those who come to drink a pint of locally brewed ale in front of a roaring fire or to enjoy the garden on a summer's evening. Alternatively our restaurant will more than reward those seeking a more formal dining experience.
