My Son and I visited last week and was met with a fantastic variety of menu choices but found out that breakfast was all that was being served at nearly 1100 — fair do’s but advertise that outside. It would also be nice to have...More
Dear Owen, Many thanks for your review. Firstly we are disappointed that your 2nd visit, wasn't as good as your first. With regard to the waitress not responding to your perfectly reasonable question, to not be given a better answer e.g. 'I don't know, but...More
Great place to fill up after a day in the hills. Friendly staff and a good selection of food and cakes. Not particularly atmospheric, but does the job!
After our walk my son and I went to the cafe for hot chocolate and home made cake. Both were great, the staff were brilliant and, the cafe itself is multi-functional, with a library and resident photographic gallery. Love it.... so go there :-)
Visited here a couple of times during our stay at the hostel next door. It's busy, but the staff are friendly and efficient. I had a scone which was as big as my head. It was great! Will try breakfast next time.
Wood burning stove, hot food and drink, sofas, relaxed atmosphere andfull off walkers and fellow adventurers. Whats not to love about this 👍

Very expensive, extremely bland 'out of a freezer' food heated up in a microwave. Took ages to arrive. Staff polite but seemed burdened by some terrible news of impending doom or crushed by their realisation of the futility of human existence. Hard not to leave...More
