Looks cool from outside and in, good menu choices and very tasty food. Chocolate brownie is huge and very very tasty. Chips are chunky and delicious.

I wasn't a rib fan before I visited Memphis, but after lunch at the Blues City Café I am forever a fan. The fried catfish are incredible and outshine the ribs in a combo platter. Well worth the visit, especially you are on... More

I had the Gumbo cheese fries and it was wonderful. food came out very quick and the price with drink was about 15 bucks. The Gumbo cheese fries were served on a serving platter, so bring someone to share with!

We were steered her by our hotel. We were seated immediately. I had ribs and catfish. Food was very good. Not much sauce, very nice and cute waiter. We enjoyed our meal.

Thanks to a flub up on the GPS, we didn't find the BBQ place we wanted but instead found ourselves smack dab in the middle of historic Beale Street. After a quick decision to just accept the GPS error and 'wing it', we walked down the block and we enticed by the wonderful smells coming from Blues City Diner. I'm... More

I think this place served the best catfish I have ever had in my life. As an added bonus, Blind Mississippi Morris and the band were amazing.
