Had the Rainman sandwich and it was delicious. Only three stools to sit and eat inside so don’t plan on eating there if it is busy. Claim to fame is that the movie, “The Firm” had a scene filmed there. Hence, all the Tom Cruise...More

I visited during the Beale Street Music Festival. I was so happy to find this place through the searing heat and humidity. All of the sandwiches are named after Tom Cruise movies and the salads are named after his ex-wives. That just cracks me up....More

Found this place accidentally while wandering around Memphis. Excellent friendly helpful service and excellent food. Had lunch, would have gone back for dinner if they'd been open. If only I didn't live 4,000 miles away...

Description
The oldest delicatessen in Memphis in a historic building built in 1853. Enjoy lunch and dinner with a view of the mighty Mississippi. Tom Cruise filmed scenes from The Firm here. The restaurant has been in operation since 1976 and we proudly continue the breakfast and sandwich traditions set by Lee Busby When dining here be sure to try a country ham and egg sandwich on a southern style biscuit. We deliver on a retro lady Schwinn bicycle and via the Memphis transportation system. This historic establishment is family owned and cared for by Jon Hodge
