Staff were very friendly and service was very good. Staff had a lovely laid back attitude as does everyone in Memphis have (this is my 2nd visit to this amazing city!). Food was amazing!!! The restaurant is like being transported to the 50's! I can't recommend this place anymore! Please ignore negative reviews as our experience was brilliant and we... More

For those wanting a cerveza with their meal, they just got their liquor licenses. You almost feel as if you are in a time warp!! Love the decor!! Of all things, we ordered a pizza and it was really good!! I have lived in Memphis for many years and never have eaten here!! So regretful we have not been before!!... More

The look of the place is cool but the actual food wasn't great. Even sitting at the counter it takes a while to get a glass of water. I saw people waiting even longer than me for their food and this was before the lunch rush (and a big bus of Japaneses tourists) arrived. Country fried steak, ok. The gravy... More

Great breakfast in a convenient downtown location. Sweet potato pancakes were very yummy. Everything we had as a family was good and it seemed to have a busy clientele. I don't think you could go wrong for breakfast there.

A decor that dates back to when Elvis ate the famous peanut butter and banana sandwiches. They have a plaque above the table that he sat at. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. You should put this place on your schedule when visiting Memphis.

Loved the Burger and the Spiked shake was amazing. The staff was friendly even with being late. We really appreciate them seating us so close to closing time. We did ask first and they were amazingly nice about it. Highly recommended

Visited this historic diner.Had the most amazing eggs, sausage, fried potatoes and French Toast to die for. Cooked to perfection, served by fast friendly waitresses, if you have to queue then do it,we had been the day before but didn't have time to wait.We went back the next morning early as our train was delayed and so glad we did.

If you are in Memphis, you need to try this place at least once. A lot of history here from all the Memphis musical greats that ate there over the years. You can sit in the Elvis booth, where The King enjoyed his fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

Had to wait a little while for our table to be cleaned & to get service but the sweet potato pancakes were well worth the wait. I took one bite of the Elvis peanut butter sandwich and couldn't stand it but my daughter loved it.

If you are visiting you need to stop in. I really enjoy their hamburgers, but you also have to give the Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich a try, just for a salute to Elvis. Another of my favorites is the Fried Chicken Salad.
