Enjoyed their food, but it looks like they've closed. I don't know if they've moved to a new location, but there is a new restaurant in this location now.

Tripadvisor is a wonderful tool for those of us that travel often but one must be aware that some people just like to complain for the sake of complaining. I read reviews on this place, as I do a lot of places, and I can...More

A server at another place actually recommended here. Started with greens, also recommended. Garlicky yumminess. We each had po' boys; Oyster and shrimp. Not Gulf Coast quality of course, but both were quite good and the bread really fresh. Quick service. Low key atmosphere. just...More

We ate lunch here. Husband had shrimp and catfish. I had grilled catfish which wasn't on the menu but the GM was very accommodating. The food was excellent! Service was excellent! The greeter even remembered my husband from the day before.

Stopped by during Elvis week. No brisket that day. Ordered some fried seafood. Not memorable. Potato salad was the most notable dish

We arrived 15 minutes before they closed for a late dinner. They greeted us warmly despite the fact that we were they only thing keeping them from closing on time. I enjoyed my meal. I had a seafood platter with crawfish and shrimp.

After reading many of the reviews, we must have been here on an "off" night. We ordered and they were out of their best rib sauce. I got a sandwich with a different sauce, which was okay. My hubby ordered the gumbo and it just...More

Went for late lunch on a weekday, Beale St itself was pretty much empty so Johnny G's wasn't very busy so can't really speak as to how it is when busy, however, we were both seated and served very quickly. Food was a little pricey...More
