We stopped for dinner on a whim and we are certainly glad that we did. The place was very busy, but very traditional inside and a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. Everyone came away feeling like they wanted to go back.

We have eaten at this place on regular trips to nearby relatives but our recent visit left us horrified .My wife was exiting the (single) ladies toilet when she was nearly knocked over by the barmaid rushing past her ,closing the cubicle door and vomiting . She then came out and told a customer drinking at the bar that she... More

I have been coming here for years. Usually for lunch/dinner with family or friends. Cannot fault the pub food on offer. Large helpings and I've never had a bad meal. It's a small pub but very cosy and welcoming with the log burners going.

From the moment we stepped in, it was clear we were on to something special. The place was cosy - warm and not too busy. The bar had a good selection of beer and whisky. We were only staying for dinner and a drink, so I had a San Miguel from draft. It was crisp and cold - a friend... More

Visited here a couple of days ago and when we arrived the boy at the bar could have been a bit happier to see us, as he could have been during our visit here, wasn't really a warm welcome. Ordered the chicken fillet in a leek and cream cheese sauce a it was delicious. Cooked well and was piping hot.... More

Lovely meal. Great value for money. Friendly and efficient service. Children welcome. My son left his jacket and they kept it for us. Fillet steak with all the trimmings was exquisite! Garlic flatbread and puddings great too.

We stayed at Dollarbeg Castle and this is the nearest pub and it's definitely worth going to. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the locals are chatty (and have some lovely, social dogs!) and the food is good and plentiful. We really enjoyed our lunch here.
