Stopped here for an early lunch while walking the West Highland Way, food was very good, service was fantastic! All waiters and waitresses were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Definitely worth the visit.

After reading all praise in the reviews here on TripAdvisor, we decided The Oak Tree Inn was a good choice for an overnight stop on our way from Islay to Newcastle. First disappointment was that the pre-booked optional nice bottle of chilled white wine awaiting...More

Called in one lunch time on our way past. Inside the pub was decorated with all manor of clocks and animals in frames. I enjoyed the pizza, son enjoyed the burger, but wife said she would not have the pulled pork jacket spud again.

Had and excellent Haddock and Chips this lunchtime. Puddings large . Good quality of food and good atmosphere. Can be busy and you may need to wait for a table. It is worth the wait.

A comfortable stay in this place. Room was nice, and modern, though the tv reception on the big flat panel tv was terrible. The onsite restaurant was good but perhaps a little overpriced. Nice selection of beers and whisky in the bar. Free WiFi throughout...More
