Modern cuisine with fresh and local produce. Menu changing daily based on that. One can easily catch the aspiration and motivation to offer a 'perfect' dining experience. Great wine selection. Absolutely fair prices. Service was very good as well. As it‘s very cozy and popular,...More

Based on the reviews we called in for lunch. What a mistake! The menu on the wall listed langoustines, but when we tried to order they were not available. My wife had mussels which she said were OK, but the beef in my open sandwich...More

Our lunch at Botanica was fantastic. We both started with chowder. For our main courses one had steamed mussels the other the langoustine. No messing about, just local ingredients cooked to perfection. No distractions, no tomfoolery. Simply delicious. If you're lucky, have their in-house sourdough...More

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS PLACE...! The Botanica is a tiny wee restaurant/bar with a couple of rooms, tucked into a corner of the Main Street in Tighnabruaich... It looks quaint, and it is, but the chef is a genius.... You want fresh seafood cooked in...More

Tighnabruaich is a wonderful place when the weather is good - and when it is not, well there is always Botanica. We had dinner last Friday on a teeming wet day. The restaurant was warm and welcoming. My husband had oven-baked sole and it was...More

Very nice restaurant with a daily fresh menu! The fish and the bruschetta are recommended! You can buy wine and beers in there small shop or utilize it in the restaurant! Different prices but great that they are honest about it👍

There is no shelter from the rain outside which can (just occasionally) be a problem on the West of Scotland. However they do serve meals at the tables outside the front. Note that the restaurant is not open several weekdays
