During a recent trip to Argyll me and my fiance were lucky enough to experience that rarest of days, a sunny and warm Scottish summer day on the west coast! This also happened to be the day we decided to head to Otter Ferry and...More

Great quality of food and service in this seafront bar / restaurant. This place is so good we went 3 times in a week. Really is worth the travel to get here, good varied menu served in a friendly pub atmosphere.

A very welcoming pub, set beside the loch with benches outside if preferred. Average bar food though some of the portions were enormous!

Stopped for a few drinks on the way to Inver. Superb views looking over the water and a good selection of beers and spirits with ample outdoor seating.

We have been regular visitors sailing from Strachur and love the place but was shocked on Wednesday night to see a sign on the door saying closed. Due to an extremely busy weekend you had sold all the food? Does that mean if you haven't sold the food we'd be getting it on Wednesday? So not fresh produce then? The grass had been allowed to grow and looked unkept people in boats looking in bewilderment! It looked as though you'd made a few quid at the weekend and shut up shop and off to enjoy your spoils! The sign was crass and I'm sure you could have been open for drinks and picked up whatever food was needed for the kitchen. It is holiday season and better weather we could not be having. Not a good for advert for west of Scotland hospitality!!!
