Some beautiful artworks for sale and at very good value for money. Next door, "Two Hearts" has a wonderful display of value gifts and clothing etc.

Had a late lunch at this lovely little teashop which is set right in the heart of Historic Kirriemuir ... namely the Town Square. We had the most beautiful home-made fare of Soup and Sandwich the better of which you will look hard to find. Served by a lovely, elegant waitress, Louise, Karen, the owner, and her daughter, Mya, we finished our lunch with, again, a marvellous in-house-created chocolate cake and tea ... and agreed our bill was very reasonable indeed. Granny Anny Mays is a quirky tea shop for people who like something real, no gimmicks, about their choice of eaterie. There, too, is a grand range of fairly inexpensive gifts for sale, decorating the interior ... all coupled with the palpable cheer and idle chat of the staff and customers alike, this is clearly a very busy business with Pleasing the People on its Agenda and at its Core.

Decided to try this bright & cheery cafe for a spot of lunch with my daughter & my parents. So glad we did as the food was delicious, the prices good & the service was really lovely & friendly. Also some really nice little gifts. This was our 1st visit but will most definately not be our last.

We had high hopes after reading the previous reviews but wish we had gone elsewhere
To charge £6.50 for a baked potato that was the size of a child's fist with only butter was poor form
Will go elsewhere next time

We visited this small cafe for afternoon coffee and cakes. It's right in the middle of Kirriemuir and looks out towards the statue of Peter Pan. The staff member was friendly and welcoming and there was a limited selection of cakes on offer. My slice of cake was a bit on the dry side but it was late afternoon on a warm summer day. The cakes tasted good and the shop was pleasant and quiet.

Popped in here for a light late lunch and coffee. I needed gluten free and they could not have been more accommodating. I had a nice Roast Veg and chicken toastie and Coffee. It was delicious and not at all expensive. This is obviously a cafe used by the locals and the only problem I had was paying as there was a conversation in progress with the owner. As I was in no rush it wasn't really much of an issue. Will definately be going back.

As a family of 4 with a pooch it is not always easy to find somewhere good to eat but this place is amazing. Great mushroom soup and paninis, even managed a bit of shopping. If you are in the area pop in it is totally worth it. Thank you ladies x

We were passing through Kirriemuir and looking for somewhere for a coffee break, so decided to try this little cafe. We had the soup of the day which was vegetable and lentil and it was very tasty - it seemed home made with big chunks of vegetables and really delicious. The soup was served with a warm crusty roll.
It was halloween weekend and the town seemed to have special events organised for children, with lots of people dressed up in spooky costumes. The cafe had got into the spirit of the celebrations - with little mini pumpkin lantern lights on the tables, and a ghost hanging on the door which made an eerie noise every time someone came into the cafe. The cafe was very busy with lots of families with young children.
Service was good though, and quite good value for money - £11 for two soups and two latte coffees.
Would visit again next time we are in the area.

There is a great atmosphere of friendliness here at this, the wee eaterie in what must be the prime site in The Little Red Town of Kirriemuir, The Gateway to the Angus Glens.
The award winning scones and all the home-baking are top class; even the most modest wee meal taken there comes to you from experienced and great cooking hands. There are many small items dotted around the shelves to peruse ... and perhaps to buy.
Try this place. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Visited quite a few times this summer with various relatives, all who were impressed. The strawberry tarts this summer were to die for! They had run out on one occasion and spent time actually making them up,( having all the ingredients to hand) We had a warm welcome on each and every occasion, and the coffee was spot on too!

What a pleasure it is to find a wee teashop in the middle of this fine Scottish toon where what you're eating has been made by the hand or ar least under the supervision of one very talented lady: The Ever Cheery Karen. The second oldest building in the Royal Burgh of Kirriemuir houses this great wee eaterie where chat, charm and character come together with lovely servers dedicated to good food ...milkshakes, tea, juices and coffee at its very best.
Have a care to stop and stare at all the goods on offer for sale... and enjoy a Scotland-wide famous scone wi' yer tea, a wonderfully hand-crafted sandwich .. or something more substantial.

Passing through Kirriemuir we needed to find a suitable coffee stop - and the cakes were too tempting not to indulge.
Really nice and friendly place.
