My husband took me away for a surprise holiday to the Isle of Skye and we wanted somewhere really special to dine on the evening of my special birthday... somewhere to remember. Driving past the day before we called to see if they could fit us in... The location is stunning and after a lot of searching I found two... More

Went for a lunch with my wife and two boys (7 and 10). Sunday afternoon. One other family there (I should have smelt a rat). Stunning location. Sat outside on the balcony on sunny day - glorious. Good things stopped there. Took 30 minutes to take order - drinks came in another 15. Three other groups were served before us... More

Not many places on Skye seem to be open on a Sunday for food so we were grateful when the kitchen staff stayed on a bit even although we were near the end of the lunch service. Hats off to the guys the food was very tasty, however the portion sizes were a bit mean. I had the double fishcakes,... More

We are having a walk in the North of Skye and we saw this lovely restaurant so close to the sea with with amazing view. Food was very good and nice staff.

Afternoon tea was prominently advertised in the brochure but at 2pm only lunch was available. I ordered the club sandwich which was tasty but rather overpriced. My two companions ordered the charcuterie board to share as a light lunch. The service was slow but the place was relatively busy. The waitress arrived and placed a wooden board containing a meagre... More

W went there for dinner. Overall, for a child it was not that great; The food seemed pretentious rather than being high end. For the adults it was OK, with small helpings although plate arrangements were nice Puddings were better. However, it was very accommodating of and friendly to dogs [unlike many places visited on Skye].

Had lunch in the bar. Amazing views and very tasty food - BUT a ridiculous price for a medium glass of white wine (£13). I'm still in shock. Don't know what market they're aiming at but it was so disappointing. I actually queried the price twice as I was convinced they'd made a mistake. So glad I didn't order a... More

Although it said at the time, dogs welcome, the waiting and bar staff looked at us like we had brought a donkey in. They immediately informed us the wait was very long for food (and not to bother). We took one glance at the overpriced menu and left.

Great setting and fabulous views but the place seems a bit run down. We visited for lunch. Food was ok but very overpriced; £8.50 for a bowl of scotch broth is way too much. Service was friendly but incredibly slow though and we waited about 45 minutes for food, which is too long when you have hungry children We won't... More
