I visited Barista recently mid afternoon. I very much enjoyed my snack and coffee. Friendly, courteous team of staff. Highly recommended.

They were very busy but accommodated four of us easily. Service was prompt, waiter very knowledgable and gave recommendation. Food was beautiful. Staff attentive but not overly so. They even asked if we wanted a short break between courses which was appreciated - excellent restaurant

Lovely coffee and tea, maybe not a large choice but fresh scones just out of oven, very. Good. Sat outside with our dogs, without asking they were brought two bowls of water, very friendly.

Went in for lunch on bank holiday Monday after being turned away from Lido which was full. The cafe was empty which did make me wonder but we ordered toasties and cold drinks anyway. Had to ask for straw and drink from can as both glasses were filthy. Lunch not very fresh, cheese not melted on toasties and we weren't... More

Dropped in for a quick lunch and was surprised there were no customers at lunchtime. We chose a table and placed our order. Staff were friendly and helpful. We both decided on the Soup Combo. Tomato and Red Pepper soup with a 'half sandwich'. We expected just that but it came with a bowl of dressed salad, crisps, coleslaw, a... More

There was one young girl taking all the orders and one guy making the food in the kitchen. As it was so busy the young waitress found it overwhelming and made this evident, drinks were extremely slow in getting served as was the food. As friendly as the staff were the food was poor and you could feel the tension... More

Having been quite impressed on previous visits my wife and I dropped in for a light lunch. We were disappointed on this occasion. When we entered there was only one other couple and the atmosphere was chilly despite a heater nearby. The lentil soup was hot enough but had a peculiar flavour, the sandwitches were OK. The coffees were average,... More
