Visited this excellent cafe again this year while in the area. It's absolutely immaculate, staff are so friendly and the Food is fantastic value for money and tastes great. They have a great selection on the menu, we had full Scottish breakfasts and got some cheesecakes and brownies for take away. Highly recommended if in the Loch Ness area, definitely... More

We took a 40 minutes stop at this cafe, after driving along Loch Ness, while on our way to Skye. We enjoyed a good coffee outside on the sun, the price was fair and the people working there really kind.

We were welcomed in but chose to sit outside in the sunshine. Not sure if the man and woman owned the cafe but they were friendly and efficient. Ordered drinks and then saw the cakes, just had to have one each; we had half of both and they were scrumptious. My latte was lovely and hot and we basked in... More

We stopped at this cafe doing LEJOG. We was soaking through after a long day in the saddle. We had torrential rain form Spean Bridge to Invermoriston on route to Dingwall. WE saw the sign post and headed for a coffee & something to eat. I was stripping off outside as I didn't want to flood the inside of the... More

Stopped here for lunch. Was really good. Divided the pate and fish cakes between two so got to taste both. The fact that it was sunny in March and able to sit outside was even better. But the highlight was the flapjack. One divided in two - that was the big mistake. We wished we had got more to take... More

We were on our way to Inverness from Skye and looking for a cafe when we came across the Rowan (which wasn't there the last time we were on that road). It was homely, friendly and with a good choice on the menu. We had the enormous filled meringues which were big enough for two but truly delicious. The cafe... More

The owner of my B&B recommended this place and I'm glad I went here for a late lunch. Staff was polite and very welcoming, and the food was simply delicious. I only tried the sandwiches, but everything in the menu looked good. I'm mot sure how many cafes are in the area, but based on this experience alone, this is... More

We stopped at this quaint little cafe for a quick lunch on our way to Skye. It proved the adage that done right, simple is best. Our leek and potato soup was tasty and warming and accompanied by brie and onion jam on brown bread made the perfect lunch. The small gift shop also provided some lovely cards, artwork by... More
