Half a dozen of us popped in for a cuppa and some cake 🍰 Saturday, after a walk in the hills at the Sma Glen. Very comfortable surroundings, especially beside the fire 🔥 and quick service....cleaned them out of scones which were delicious. Quirky water...More

On the High Street was fine for me. Parked just up the road on meter (£1.10 for one hour). Inside there is space for maybe 30 customers. 4 high seats at a bar area, usual tables & chairs, plus a few sofa chairs. Decent menu...More

What a charming little cafe and gift shop. A comfortable seat beside a log fire, a nice range of hot drinks and snacks and friendly service from the two members of staff we met. A very enjoyable visit. Recommended.

Table service was very slow, in fact, we felt unwelcome as they seem to concentrate on serving locals. Took us 10 minutes today before anyone asked us what we wanted and even then we had to ask if there was table service. Tea and coffee...More

Came in here for a spot of late breakfast. Was greeted politely and food tasted good. The cafe had crafts for sale too.

We're regulars at the Red Squirrel and really love our visits there. The coffees, cakes and scones are as generous, fresh and tasty as they come and I doubt you'd find a better scone with cream and jam anywhere (out of this world). The ambience...More

We visited for lunch before going to the nearby Famous Grouse experience. Service was good with staff allowing requested minor adaptations of menu items. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were especially enjoyed, and the scone and butter was also good. Free parking only 100m away.
