Stopped here with no expectations en route. Rustic restaurant. Unusual food, mainly meat based. Had pork cheeks and black pudding to start and pigeon in sauce and vegetables to follow. Desserts were unusual too. Very good value.

book in advance as difficult to get a table but worth the wait. Marvelous food with a bit of imagination. Not cheap but excellent value for the price charged. Will be back Stayed over as well. Not the Hilton but never expected it to be....More

The best restaurant Sunday lunch for a long time. Unfussy for exquisite. Friendly service. Relaxing bat for coffee, dessert and the Sunday papers.
