we ate here on the Saturday and were lucky to get a table as we had not booked and the place was extremely busy. Service was very good, the venison was excellent and the IPA was tasty.

Once again we were not disappointed by the food or the atmosphere. This is a busy bustling bar and brasserie which offers consistently good food. It is popular with local residents and regular visitors and that speaks for itself. We think it is the best...More

Great food. Well presented and tasty. However, I was expecting "pub grub" and prices. Was all a bit expensive considering what I was aiming for, even including fish and chips. No wonder the prices weren't on the web site. It's 4 star "with a but..."

We visited on a busy Friday night, and had to sit in the bar area for our meal. The staff were maybe a little over-stretched, as we had to wait a while for service, and also to request condiments for the table etc. It was...More

Very nice restaurant with a varied menu. Best to book a table as it is used a lot by the locals as is obvious by the owners familiarity with them.

Never been disappointed eating here. With friends tonight we each enjoyed an excellent main course of fish. Waiters attentive, tolerant of us taking time to make up our minds.

We entered at 1.45 from the rear car park on a Tuesday to be met with a busy lunchtime bistro/bar. The whole place has been designed to a very high standard. A great deal of thought and money has been put into the quality finishes....More

I have no idea what dishes would be nut free, but the staff are very helpful and I am sure they could put your mind at ease with a few suggestions.
