A nicely located pub with good parking area. Food good. Usual pub prices. Staff friendly. Lots of outside space and right by sea.

Visited the Smuggler's Inn today for lunch. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food took 35 minutes to turn up. Ordered a bacon and cheeseburger and a child's size cheeseburger for my daughter. My daughter's cheeseburger was nearly as big as mine and nearly half the price. If I had known this, I would have ordered a child's... More

Last minute decision to eat here. Last visited many years ago when it was a smokers paradise. Now much has changed, and it was cosy place to sit by the fire and enjoy a coffee. This persuaded us to see if we could book a table for lunch. Menu was interesting pub food, especially since many dishes come in two... More

Pleasant enough but missed a trick. Bog standard chain pud food such a shame the location and the old world feel of this old pub could stand head and shoulders above the average but it lacks something. Very salty chips - but did not make me drink more

Pleasant country pub in lovely surroundings. Food was average typical pub food.Cosy and welcoming pub however we were not impressed by dogs being allowed in to restaurant area.We declined desserts as we were off put by dogs eating at table.

My wife and I and our 2 dogs had a faultless stay at this excellent pub with rooms. I recommend a stay here, the whole experience, room, dinner, breakfast and staff were first class!

We stayed a night here and found the rooms to be clean, comfortable and warm. There was a storm raging outside so we spent time downstairs in the pub, where the service was impeccable and the food wonderful. The chefs clearly source the best local ingredients, the breakfast was probably the best I've had in terms of quality food anywhere... More

Amazing building, scenery and location but everything else is disappointing. We had to wait over an hour for burnt beef burgers. Luckily we ordered before it got busy as I expect some of those customers are still waiting for their food! Staff were not friendly or welcoming. Lots of potential.

We visited the smugglers around the new yrs period.... we had been there previously when we were on holiday for food and drink and loved the spot and the feel of the place..... On our most recent visit I noted that it was a hall and wood house establishment..... I'm not sure if I missed that the first time we... More
