This was our lunch stop on a very hot day walking around Portland. We were not disappointed. We both had items from the lite bites menu. Prawn cocktail for me and mini fish cakes for my husband. Both ample lunch meals, washed down with tea....More

I had heard this was the best place on the Bill for food......and it was!! Excellent cup of tea ,first class scones and thick, yellow cream! Plus good cheerful service and superlative view. Just mind the sea gulls!! Recommended.

Had their fish & chips, which was really nice and the view of the coast is superb. Their menu was quite interesting, with other seafood, such as crab, also available. Staff very friendly.

I didn't eat here, but two coffees cost £5! Meals were advertised at nothing under £10.99. These are the prices you would expect to pay at a nice restaurant.More

The Lobster Pot is a perfect pit stop for all birders visiting the bill. The patio area gives you perfect opportunity to sea watch whilst treating yourself to a perfectly cooked scone & coffee.

Went for a cream tea with two friends & weren't disappointed. Lovely big fruit scone & little pot of jam with plenty of thick cream. Tea was proper tea, not t bags. Plenty for the three of us & enjoyed by all.

Most of what needs to be said has already been covered by other positive reviewers. It is true that it is perched on a cliff on Portland Bill and it is, essentially, a substantial wooden cabin. The food is more cafe than restaurant but that...More

Perched on top of the cliffs at the end of the Isle of Portland - the bit known as Portland Bill, this scenic "café-in-a-cabin" has a diverse, if broadly conventional, British menu. It's location is stunning with window tables that look out onto the cliffs,...More

Why dont you cater better for locals. We are the ones who come to you all year round. I rang to book a table and was told cant book after 12.30. Another time i rang and was told you close at pm .only to rush over and get told you open all day. Think you need to update the staff on rules and regulations.. but when w d get in .its exelant food. Never ever had a bad meal there. 5*****
