We returned here the day after visiting Corfe Castle as were intrigued by the chocolate scone with cappuccino icecream and blackcurrant jam. What a delight! We also had a normal very lovely scone with jam and clotted cream. We sat outside with the castle view...More

Lovely spot in the village, directly beside the castle with the best possible views of it from their tea garden. Nice interior too. Scones delicious, and they even do an intriguing 'scone of the month' though couldn't quite manage it - double-chocolate when we were...More

Sat in the garden with Corfe castle next to us. Enjoyed the cream tea. Excellent Earl Grey scone. The garden was very pretty....luckily we had good weather. It was very quiet at opening time. The view really makes it.

We went here before going into the castle. We all had a cream tea but were a bit disappointed with the scones that were a bit stale. Never mind, next time we will try the sandwiches.

Hello and thank you for your review. I can assure you that the scones served here are baked fresh each morning and I am concerned regarding your post. can I ask did you make the staff aware of this and was it resolved for you?

Although separate to the actual castle, this is a good National Trust Tea room. The cakes & scones were up to NT standard. A good use of an adjacent building in Corfe castle. Nice flat walk from the NT car park, well sign posted.

This National Trust cafe must have one of the best views around! After a wonderful visit to the castle we enjoyed the delicious orange cake and pleasant coffee in the lovely garden looking up at the ruins. The NT excels at traditional English fare!

Wonderful scones and great coffee offered at these Tea Rooms. the staff were friendly and very obliging. We sat inside on a misty damp day but there is also a nice outside seating area as well.

They are definitely allowed in the garden. I did ask if dogs were allowed inside, they said they were, preferably if it wasn't really busy in there. On our visit it was packed, lots of queuing to order food. Very nice tea... More
