Wow, this is one of those places I wish I had found years ago. I'd been reading about it via other local reviews for years before finally discovering it myself last May. And then we returned the next day as well! It was fantastic. Usually, I am afraid to announce my favorite places for fear they will be over-run and... More

Not the easiest place to find but well worth it. I have taken friends here for lunch and afternoon tea. The staff are very friendly and the service is very good. Its very popular and can be difficult to get a table, but worth waiting for one to become free. You have to try their Cream Tea's

So glad we stumbled across this hidden and secluded cafe on a day out to see the swans at Abbotsbury. I don't really want to share how amazing our experience was as it could so easily become VERY busy! Bumpy dirt track, farm dogs asleep under tractors, birds nesting in trees created that very special lazy Sunday feel. The closest... More

After a refreshing and stimulating walk from Seatown we found this gem! As you follow the sighs and drop into the small tranquil garden it seems not much, but when you view the menu and then taste the food you will be back ( we sure were and not at all disappointed ). They have a Daily specials board and... More

Really enjoyed our breakfast. Not the cheapest, but certainly worth the money compared to a similar breakfast eaten elsewhere later in the week. The sausages were really good! They also featured on the menu as a lunch dish during Dorset food fortnight. Would be 5* if tea/coffee included in price of breakfast.

We visited this garden cafe twice in our weeks stay in West Bay. We stopped off during a long round walk from West Bay to Eype and the look out point beyond. We were made to feel very welcome, including our dog. The scones were massive, and the jam and clotted cream were amazing. For a little extra you can... More

Having seen the signs for the cafe while walking from West Bay to Seatown and back we made the half mile detour for a lunch stop. Probably the best BLT I've ever had! Really thick bacon and very tasty. Set us up for the rest of the walk back to West Bay. While there I read about the family taking... More

We love coming to this hidden gem of a find where cream teas, lunches & special afternoon tea, pre-booked of course, away from the mad scurry of the world, where birds sing, cows moo,the tinkle of tea spoons, a myriad of flowers & the aroma of freshly baked scones, bliss. It is a place we bring many of our overseas... More

We have visited this cafe on our annual visits to Sea town previously enjoying cream teas so on 2 October we thought we would try lunch. All I can say is,avoid the chicken casserole, it was made up of bits of chicken carcass (choking risk for some as small chopped bones)and boiled skin quite the worst meal I have ever... More
