Walking into the amazing village down from the ridgeway we were completely stunned by its awesome beauty! It was a cool yet mild and friendly evening and when we found this B&B we were just so happy! Old English charme minus all sorts of Kitsch, nice landlords, perfect breakfast! Hope to come back one day.. We left in the morning,... More

Called in during our holiday in Dorset for afternoon tea. It was fairly quiet on the afternoon we visited and we were made to feel very welcome. Dorset apple cake was delicious and we were given a huge pot of tea between us. There was also the wonderful smell of further cakes baking from the kitchen!

Family of five adults plus large hound visited the Tearooms on a sunny afternoon. We sat on the pleasant terrace and admired the lovely, well kept garden. Everyone loved their afternoon teas, one plain and one fruit scone (warm) each with jam and clotted cream. Excellent selection of teas available (Assam, Lapsang Suchong, Darjeeling, English Breakfast, fruited, mint) and included... More

We visited for tea and cakes However the prices did not reflect that it was self service We had to collect cups from another table with other items We would have expected waitress service for that price.

We were given a very warm welcome to the tea rooms early one morning. It is quaint and interesting and very clean. The service was superb and I would like to return either for lunch or afternoon tea.

Having done the Botanical Gardens we enjoyed a fabulous Dorset cream tea in the tea rooms. Could not fault any aspect of our time there despite being exceptionally busy the service and quality of food was exemplary...it is indeed a well oiled cog! I can think of a couple of other local business's who should take a leaf out of... More

We called in at the tea rooms for a light lunch, soup and a crab open sandwich, both were excellent. We were glad that we sat inside as people who had sat outside had been bothered by wasps.

We visited the Abbotsbury tea rooms for a late afternoon lunch, brilliant menu full of tempting treats. We had the high tea which came with a great selection of generously filled sandwiches, a choice of beautiful home made cakes (my favorite was the Dorset apple cake) and freshly baked scones still warm form the oven with clotted cream and jam....
