Whilst visiting family in South Molton we stopped here for dinner. Very nice atmosphere, friendly landlord and lovely food. The gammon steak we ordered was massive and very tasty!!! Couldn’t manage it all. Drinks cheap compared to City prices.

Thank you very much for your review, it is sometimes quite a challenge to subdue the enthusiastic locals but as you say it is a pub with a great atmosphere and there is a reason for that! Cheers Ian

Called in as we stayed nearby. The landlord was unattentive and there was an air of couldn't be bothered. The draft Ale was very palatable but the atmosphere seemed flat. Left after a pint and decided not to return whilst we were in the area....More
