GET A COSTA COFFEE & SANDWICH ACROSS THE ROAD IS MY STRONG ADVICE!!!! Clearly not the first visitors who have experienced this absolutely dire establishment having read some of the comments. You get what you see basically. Typical transport cafe with a good local reputation. Service is quick and the food is tasty. Cheap and cheerful, with various heart attack specials!

We were staying at the travel lodge sout on cross..having no restaurant facilities we were going into Okehampton for breakfast. There is a little chef nearby but didn't fancy it. We spotted this place as we passed and decided to have our breakfast there on the day we left. We all had a traditional breakfast which was tasty and great... More

But at the time he ordered this wasn't made clear to him, and despite his protests of an honest mistake, and the... More

Small, but very friendly. Coffee was the best I'd had got a week! Strong and full of flavour. Breakfast choices are amazing, we had bacon and egg rolls, and toast for the children. Inside is strictly for those of us wanting to eat. They also have a huge selection of DVDs for sale @ £2 each! Buy 5 get 1... More

Just like 1960's before fast food global chain outlets dominated the roadside refreshment outlets. Cheerful welcome ( and goodbye). Simple food freshly cooked and priced reasonably. Drinks £1 . Avoid the sausages which are cheap and nasty but all other items excellent.
