We went on the last day of our holiday and had a lovely meal. I had the last portion of Lamb Tagine which was very tasty. And I was lucky enough to get the last portion if the triple layer Bailey's Cheesecake for dessert as well. The portion sizes are great especially for the reasonable prices. The children's menu is... A great place to enjoy a drink in Mortehoe - especially sitting outside on a sunny day. It serves good West Country beers - including St Austell brewery numbers like Tribute Ale, Cornish bitter, the gorgeously hoppy 'Proper Job' and Korev lager. Kids seem welcome although it's not out and out child friendly. The outside area is particularly good for... More

We stopped here for lunch, we ordered food and drinks, the lunch menu was only available. We sat outside in the seating area to the side of the building. I ordered the cheese and ham pannini, this was nice and the purple coleslaw was nice too. A bit pricey for the food and drinks. Other food might be alright but... More

Lovely place to stop, at the top of the hill on the way back from Woolacombe, but not very cheap! £4 for a pint of Cornish lager, ouch

This is a welcoming pub which serves good food and real ale. The prices are fair. Today we paid about £17 for 2 drinks and sandwiches. I recommend the Devon crab, served with a small salad.

This pub has a great location in centre of the village and seems to position itself to suit locals and tourists alike. It's also the first place you come to after walking up the steep hill from the coast so perfectly placed to quench a thirst. Bar staff were friendly and helpful discussing the ales - choice of 3 -... Arrived on a very busy Saturday night and not booked, staff were very accommodating and said we could have a table if we didn't mind a short wait. Within 10 minutes table found, service and food very good, will definitely return when next visiting Mortehoe.

Had a wonderful dinner with my daughter who has a dairy allergy. They are gluten free too, and our lovely waitress and chef were fab! Helpful to choose our menu!. She could even have a cake! This made her night! Great to see a pub with yummy fresh food. Delicious seafood too!
